I took the racks off, 250EX front shocks and Team ECC graphics + Tag grips. I think I picked up about 10 horsepower and 5 inches of travel with these mods :p ;) :huh

do 250ex shocks make a noticebly difference between suspention.

I assume the recon weighs more then the 250ex so hows this working out?

We haven't had it out since we put the 250 shocks on, but it is definetly stiffer than with the recon shocks. It doesn't weigh a whole lot more than a 250ex without the racks on it. Those things weighed a ton! It did raise the front about 1/2 an inch, it looks like a prerunner :p

woohoo! finally someone following in my footsteps.:blah: yea.....heres mine if you havent seen it. oh yea....you might wanna make some support brackets for youre rear fenders or theyll flop all over and start to crack right along the storage box.....i got some small cracks in mine from not having them.....i got some brackets on there now though. this pic is old too, i got a full supertrapp pipe, stickers going up back fenders and ontop of gas tank now.

oh another thing, if you wanna clean it up and make it look better, put washers and rounded head screws/bolts for all the holes from the racks except for the four big ones that are molded round.

I think I picked up about 10 horsepower how are you pickin up power without doing any mods other than cosmetics and shocks?????:confused: :confused: :confused: but either way it looks sweet without the racks. :D :D :D
