Hub ?

The nut that holds the hub onto the axle of my r always seems to be a little loose. I know its not going anywhere becuase of the cotter pin, but it seems like I should be able to keep it tight. Is there anything I can do to it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

im haveing the same problem......:( .....maybe ill try locktight on it next time i have it apart....:ermm:

i had the same problem but i tightened them with an adjustable b/c if the nut isnt tight and moves even a little bit it will wear out either the grooves on the axle or the hubs

A hub on my 400 was coming loose too. Take it off, clean it out, grease it well, reinstall. The 400 is torqued to 101# ft. then turned to the next available slot for the cotter pin if one is not there already there.
