That must suck for your brother. A few other guys are hunting where those photos were taken, hopefully they don't get the big bucks I have seen(not in the photos). If they do, I will just go to my other great hunting spots;)

Nice pics. You can't take pics like that around here because the deer will spook from the 1st flash. And you will never seea deer in the open like that during daylight unless it's running from something. Everything around here is either overhunted, or not hunted at all because the landowners won't allow it. That makes for some very spooky deer and hard hunting.

I've been out 2 times with my bow, and would like to have been out more, but didn't practice until too late because of a broken wrist. I saw a small buck about like the 1 in your pics. He has a cripeled up leg from getting tied up in the barbed wire fence last wenter so I wanted to shoot him, but he saw me and never took it's eyes off of me while I stood there motionless as it walked by.

I'll be hunting a lot better area when firearms season (we do not have a rifel season in IN) comes in. A large swamp that will not have any hunters in it until the last few days of season, but the deer will be headed that way as soon as the shooting starts.

Ive been out quite a bit this year with my bow. Ive already passed up a small 8 pointer and a bunch of deformed smaller deer. I saw a dear when on the EX the other day, it was no smaller than a 10, i would guess its a 12 pointer, its huge. Im waiting for something big this year. Last year all I got with a bow was a squirrel, a hard shot for 25 yards with a bow. Ive been watching a bunch of little bucks hanging around out house the last couple weeks, all too small though. I wish we could use rifles in Indiana, but for now ill stick with my handy 20 guage, only missed one deer and the rest dropped within 20 yards.
