There is a small dent (2-3 inches) in the back of my new pipe. Its very precise and looks as though it was machined that way. Is this dent supposed to be there? If not, will it hurt anything?

Its near the dead middle of the pipe.

Thanks,
Mike

I think everybody that gets one asks the same question (at least I did). Yes it is supposed to be there. Enjoy it.

If you have a stock filter and aren't going to rejet the carb, you may want to only use 8 disk until you do to avoid being too lean. There is another recent thread about e-series you may want to check out, do a seach and ENJOY!

Yeah, all e-series have a dent now. If you had an older one, your caliper made a dent for you:D

I don't even think it will hit....my friend had all of his shocks out, and his 4-wheeler was sitting all the way on the ground, and his calliper still wasn't hitting his muffler, which was stock and is larger than the wb. you would have to flat land pretty hard to have it hit the muffler, and I think there would be more than a dent after it happend also.

My seller said that it was so you didnt hit the caliper when you jumped.
