When i put my it into neutral the light won't come on, well when i kill it and come back and get ready to crank it i have to pull the clutch in for it to crank, even though it is in neutral. Has anyone ever had this problem before?

mine does the samething sometimes, it comes on most of the time but once in a while it doesnt...im not really sure how to fix it...its probably just a loose connection somewhere.

I had the same problem, check where the wire connects to the engine. It is by the gear shifter. Mine wiggled lose and kept the light from coming on. Hope it helps.

Look right by where ur shifter shaft comes out , that wire down there is probably disconnected.

You got off easy I could not get mine to start with that wire off...
Also had some trouble when I removed the parking brake crap and the switch that was wired into the harness at the handle... don't cut that off or the Quad will only start in Neutral.... had to get in there and wire the two ends back together.....:macho
