View Full Version : What Am I Doing Wrong?

Ok, I decided to finally learn how to post pictures on this site. I was reading the old posts about how to post pictures, and I got everything down right. For some reason, this is what shows up when I post a picture.........

Can anyone help me with this?

imagestation doesnt let you host pics from their site. You need to go to another hosting service. Im sure someone on here can recommend a few good ones. otherwise you are doing everything right

sure you can post pics from imagestation. you just have to take off the .orig.jpg off the end. here

I USE CAR DOMAIN (SP) WILL GET THE SITE

Not sure what you did wrong, but here is what I use imagestation.

Go find the thumbnail I want. Then click it so that it's in it's own window. Then right click the picture and click properties.
Then in the properties screen, there is an address column. I copy all of that. It's usually 2 lines long.

Then click the IMG button in the posting and past the link.

Then your all good.

Doibugu2, I did exactly the same thing you are doing. I'll have to try again, maybe its something wrong with imagestations site :confused: ...

why in the heck cant we post pics like we used to? Did they make it more pain in the *** to keep us from posting so much stuff...if that was the case, it worked. I haven't posted anything for a LONG time...too much hassle now-a-days......I dont get it??

There were so many pics on the site it brought the server to its knees. It took the ADMIN some time to get it straightened out. He explained it to us mods, but it went over my head like a 747. Right now the mods can attach pics testing the new side server for pics. Seems to be working ok.

Im just gonna wait untill the picture problem is fixed. Its so much of a hassle to do it this way :o .

I agree with you !! The ability to post pics on this site is what set it apart from the other forums. I spend much less time here because of it. It is really to bad, seems the site is going downhill since Leo left. The pics added to the experience.

I think Harlen or Pappy. I save most of the cool pictures from the race reports on here ;) .
