I have a 2000 model 400 ex and i am goin to have to tear into the motor and was wondering what i needed for the engine to make it a 416????????

you will have to bore your cylinder out 2mm. you will need a new piston since it is bored. also, i would get a more aggressive cam if you were planning on building it.

Talk to C&D, they support this site, have good prices, and have always given me good service(stuff arrived when they said it would). I bought my son's 416 stuff (JE Piston, Hot Cams Stage II, and Cometic Gaskets) from them and then had Thumper Racing port it and do the machine work on the cylinder. Very happy with the performance! I wouldn't recomend going too high on the compression or you will need better head studs. We are at 11:1 and no problem.
