headers for white brothers

HI new to the board. I have a 99 400ex that I am currantly boring to a 426, right now I have a white bros slip on silencer and I am wondering if I can buy a header for it or if I have to buy a whole new pipe. Or will the stock header work just fine on my new motor. Thanks for any help.

I'm about 99% sure that the White head pipe will not fit with the slip on silencer. The full system or "pro-meg" uses a reverse megaphone on the silencer and the inlet is bigger than the slip on, thus the White head pipe is also bigger diameter.

I believe the thought is the stock head pipe gives better bottom end????? than the bigger head pipe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

Unless things have changed, White Brothers does not sell just the header for the 400. You either buy complete system or just the slip-on.

The FMF Powerbomb header seems to a popular choice of many.

the stock hedder will be fine if you arent looking for every bit of performance. The power bomb used to be favored, but I think alot of companys stopped selling them for one reason or another. I would check on ebay for the WB head pipe as I dont believe you can buy them seperately.

Slap a FMF powerbong on that sucka. It'll work and better than the WB header. Even WB will tell ya that..:eek:

Rocky Mountain Atv offers the WB header. The powerbomb header is alot better though. Rocky Mountain carries both.

I followed Rico's lead and I have a PowerBomb with my eSeries W/B, 416, JE 11:1. It is the way to go, it works great!!

even if you find a white brothers header, it won't fit. their headers are made for their complete system. the inlet on the complete system silencer is bigger than the inlet on their slip on silencer. the powerbomb header fits slip on silencers.

Any exhaust on the market that fits the stock header will fit a powerbong. Garaunteed........:cool:

The WB header is for the full system only.

The WB slip on mounts is diff spot from the WB header and the WB header is oversized.
