Does anybody have any suggestions on how to make the seat a little softer on the YFZ's. Is there anyone selling foam?

i have quite a bot of hours on mine and mine is sill way too hard. My butt gets bruised. I only weigh 135 though. Im going to let weights sit on it now.

You shouldnt be sitting enough for that to happen. The seat is short and hard for a reason. I love mine, and its still softer than dirtbike seats.

Hard seats are for mxing. XC riding requires a lot more use of the seat, and works better if you can pick yourself up and down into it instead of sliding all over it. Planting your a** puts a lot more traction to the wheels!!

I haven't contacted hi-flite, but when I was looking for foam for my R, there were only a few options. Hi-Flite, I believe graves has some foam, ceet maybe and Baldwin had foam available. Mark's foam was the softest of the three, but none of them could come even close to the Honda foam as far as softness.

think you could carve some up out of ex foam or something? that foam cuts awesome when new with an electric knife, like for cutting turkey.
