i am getting a +3 front end for my R and was wondering how the stock YFZ shocks would work? i hear they are really stiff from the factory, so with the plus 3 arms would that make them good? will they bolt right up? i am wanting these because they are fully adjustable and i can get some for $200 shipped with only 1 ride on them.

I don't think that the mounts are wide enough on a 250r to fit the yfz shocks, so some sort of modification would be needed.

I would almost bet the pig farm that it WILL NOT work..

So ,you will have to compress the shock, then squeze it into place. If it still doesnt fit you mite have to get a hammer and hit it till it slides into place. You should get a tie strap, the ratchet kind, and crank on it till you get the right length. Once it is place release the ratchet and you will be ready to roll!!!!!!!!

someone told me that the yfz shocks were like 15"s, and the yzf long travel was 17"s. were they wrong? if they r right they would be shorter?

someone with a YFZ said the shocks were like 15.7 eye to eye, so that would lower my ride height by like 1"
