ive owned both.

both make good power with the hmf "feeling" a bit stronger in the middle and on top. hmf in my expierence has better quality and a better finish.

Kind of suprised by your response. The way everyone talks you just cannot touch the LRD.

But hey, I'm very happy with my HMF.

I think that both pipes are good the HMF will be louder but you can get the quiet core, as for full system or slipon if you are going to do a bigbore in the future you might want to get the full system.

I got a HMF off Pappy I cant wait to put it on and see what the power difference is between the HMF and Sparks.

If I was to choose between HMF and LRD I would go with LRD, but it depends on what price you can get them for, go for whichever is cheaper.

I love my LRD system. I used to have just a T-4 slip-on. The LRD full system is like a night and day difference. It pulls alot harder and revs out nice as long as you have a rev box. I would definately recommand the LRD!!!

i would diffantly get a lrd cause of its quality and power but they are both good pipes

HMF; I'll put an HMF on any other quad I get.

HMF is a nice pipe, i am running it on my 400ex right now(testing out jetting, it is my buddies pipe) and let me tell you that it is 10x better then the wb e-seris by far...
i am going to get either lrd or sparks for my 425ex.
Will Harlen put a review up for the sparks pipe?? i am intersted to see what he says. I know a lot of people like sparks x-6 but some say the new lrd performes better then the x-6... any one disagrue??

When I was at my local shop, there were a few racers up there that have had experience with both the Sparks and the LRD. They said the "Mack Daddy" lol of the two is definetly the LRD. That is why I went with the LRD. Worth every penny it cost! I couldn't believe that an exhaust system could do that much to improve power. :eek2:

Evan - do you have the new or old "megaphone" style?

remlapr- I have the new style. I see you are from KentuckyRiders. You probably know about T&T Motorsports then. If you are looking into getting this exhaust T&T has really good prices on all there systems.:macho

Yep - I know who they are. Their quads are the nicest I have ever seen.

hmm, I don't know - but you should see their quads Rico. CRF aftermarket 400ex geometry with AXIS. YFZ426 aftermarket 250r geometry with PEP zps, ect... And those were just the best two...

I have both LRD and HMF. I like the HMF better it seems to have a little beter bottom end and delivers a little bit smoother power. Pus the HMF fit up much better. Performance wish they are very similar!!!
