I would just like to know of what you all think of the K&N w/ the Outerwear. Im not really sure what mods I should get for my quad and I was wonderin if you all thought that this might be a good addition. I will do a some creek ridin durin the summer, will that hurt anything if I get the K&N? Im probably get Nerfs but my b-days comin up so I was think of the K&N. Just askin.

I've run a K&N for about 5 years and had no problems,,and I've rode in just about every condition except desert,,get it with a jet kit..and outerwear..:D

What does the Jet Kit do? I read that it increases power supposedly 5% throughout your gears. Im guessin Id have to rejet if I got the filter right?

hey i called my local honda shop and they said they could not even order a k+n kit. i though that was pretty dumb, were do u think i could get one?

Yes, you will defintely have to rejet when getting changing air filter but I wouldn't get a jet kit!!! Isn't the jet kit like $80.00-$100.00 (including filter)???? The filter should only cost $45-$50, All you need is the main jet and you can get one for about $5.00 from your local honda dealer. I know people are different but spending all that extra money always seemed like a waste of money to me. I just bought the jet and it runs great!!!!!

you wont need to rejet...a jet kit is only 40 or 50 filter is 30 or 40 ,,,,i run kn with no box lid and it runs fine, i am going to rejet when\if i get a pipe though

Rockymountainatv.com has them if you can catch em in stock, alot of stuff for the 250 is hard to get cause its outta stock all the time.
The filter is bout 30-40 and jet is bout 45-55 or so I think.

So, would you guys recommend me getting the jet kit then? I wont have to mod my airbox lid any will I?
