a stock gas gas is wider than all of ya(but I do have honda a-arms on the front now) and talk about shifting, I have a special one of a kind shifter for shifting under any condition

Speaking of RPMS. I had no Idea how low the rpm's are on a DS?:huh I was totally shocked! For such a fast machine I dunno, I just assumed it tapped out alot higher

why pick on a raptor? why not a yfz? i ride a raptor and finished in the top ten in our series several times. we average anywhere from 60-100 quads each race. ya, they're tippy, but they'll smoke your exlax machine up any hill or acrossed a field...:eek2:

i'm with big daddy on this on i sold my 440ex for a yfz
and i believe MEL rides a overly ridin 400ex and was ahead of your raptor a couple times

who, me? i love my honda and will for another year at least. but, if anyone thinks that all raptors are slow and tippy they need to come out to a WNYOA race and take a riding lesson from bigdaddy. the only guy i can think of that can ride a raptor faster is curtis crump.
btw congrats to bigdaddy. second place for the year racing in the vet a class. way to go!

hey mama,i couldn't see the pic. i've ran the raptor 3 years now. and they are a fun trail quad. but it is time for something that handles a little better. :( how many gncc's you running next year?

i told myself 2 races ago my season was over BUT... i noticed im 17th in points outa 80 some guys in this series before my 9th place last weekend -sooooooo- im thinkin if i run this week ironman style i might have a shot in top ten of this series if i did half decent this sun. hmmmmmm.... ive got a series win to collect my prize and braggin rights in wedron il. this sun. but im really wantin to run this last one at casey- im really wishy washy soo ill know sat. night which ill be at sun. good luck to all if i no-show!!

I do remember one time riding with my buddy, he was on his 400ex. As I squeaked between two trees, I was thinking, no way will he fit through. So I went about 20 yards and turned around to watch the carnage... Yep, he bounced off the tree. :devil:

Oh... you're not serious? But... I ummm... ran out to the garage to check my Raptor for an oil leak... Course it sits there most of the time, since I usually ride my much better handling and less tippy LT! :D
