how would this pipe work with the stock engine on the 400ex?

it works fine...i used it when i was stock...it bogs in the low end...but once u get it up high its great...i would recommend some other mods along with it to make its performance even better...such as a cam and a high comp piston...maybe an overbore

i noticed that you have a 416 kit. im looking into the sparks racing 416 kit. how do you like it? do you out run alot of people?

ya i love it...and as for speed wise...it is DAMN fast...im glad i got it :D ...compaired to my dads bike..which is also pretty modded...it is like a night and day power difference...its like riding in a golf cart then hoppin in a go cart...very sweet

The x6 works well on the stock 400ex it just has better mid to top than the x4:)

worked well for me on the stocker. Works even better now that i got mods for it to work with. get the x-6

Did you guys have to re-route the clutch cable or bracket? I read somewhere that Sparks recommends doing that.

all that this requires is the bending of that black wire supporter that bolts to your right engine mount bracket.
