Is there any kind of scratch remover out there that would take away or fill in my scratches on my 400?

honestly, I'm not bashing you, but no matter how much you try to keep the scratches off, you'll get more.

I never understood what the BFD was about having a few scratches on the plastic...it's an ATV, it's meant to ridden, not stored in a glass case somewhere.

But if you MUST, there's a product called Plastic Renew...but I got no idea about what it can do.

Just a waste of money in my opinion..:ermm:

Has anybody tried just using some super fine sandpaper and wet sanding thier fenders? How did it work? Mine have some big time scratches (gouges) and I'm sure I could clean them up just by sanding, probably be a lot of work though...

I sanded an old fender for my bike with 400 grit wet/dry and WD40 and all it did was mar up and discolor the fender.

Just spray the plastics down with something like tire dressing or WD-40 and hide them. trying to get rid of them is a waste of time and money.

I have... doing so faded the plastic where I sanded but it worked at removing the finer scratches..a little wax, WD-40 or ArmorAll takes care of the fading problem.

I'm over it though - no more sanding..yeap, scratches add character....!!
