what has everyone paid for there yfz450s? I went to my local dealer today and they said they would sell it to me for 6,700 plus tax and tittle. Has anyone gotten them cheaper and if so how much? how much was it after tax and tittle?

Up here they want 7400 plus taxes and all which would end up being an easy 8000.

well the best deal I can find is $6,300 in ohio.... around $6,700 w/ tax and tittle. Now I just need to find somewhere w/ a lower interest rate then 7.9% lol...

try your bank or credit union..it will be around 4.9% at most there

I checked 3 banks in my area and the first one wanted 11.5% the second wanted 9% and the third wanted 9.5% and they told me that the dealer will always be lower then them on a new quad. so I gave up.. lol

Doesn't yamaha have a 3.9% deal going on now. I thought that is what is on their website.

Actually, 7.9% isn't all that bad of a rate for a recreational vehicle. I just refinanced my house at 6.15%, my wife's car is 7% (we got a small discount because she worked at a bank) but anytime we financed an ATV it was always around 8%. If you're a homeowner you may be able to take out a line of credit or a home equity loan for a cheaper rate and buy the quad with that money.

I'd rather make $150 monthly payments on it and use my "cash" to invest in the stock market. I may finance my quad for 3 years but instead of flushing that money at one time I'll turn that $7000 into $30,000 over the course of the financing.

depends if you can afford it. Some can, some cant...Much like a car. Some drop 60k at a time, some pay it over 5 years. Anyways, my YFZ was 7500 OTD here in california. :eek2:

a car is something you have to have to get around to work everyday, dang i would take a loan out on one if i had too. but a quad isnt neccesary and i use my cousin for example cuse he took a loan out from the honda finance for a 99 300ex and he is STILL paying it off and he is stupid to still be paying it off for 5300 when its worth maybe 2200.

NTPRacing#19.... Yeah I really didnt want to take out a loan for it But I dont have 14,000 dallors laying around. So I am just gonna take out a $6,700 loan and put 6 to 7,000 dallors of aftermarket parts into it this winter and next winter pay the quad off... You are right it is a toy but MX is my life and I need it for the nationals.

I think you can get em here for 6300 out the door. They must pay you folks more money in the other states. Seems like everything (except beer and cigarettes) costs more in other states.

Especially out west.

Is that chicago cycle center actually a good deal, or just a bunch of bs?
