There's your problem.. remove all sand from your riding area and you'll be fine...

check to make sure your sliders are lubed...allowing the bads to "back off" the rotor when you let off the brake. ive seen several with this problem. dirt and junk bulids up on the slider holding the pad to the rotor enough that it will wear the pad
