I have a 250X with a mild White Bros cam, a FMF power Core 4 pipe and silencer.....The motor has been bored .040 over with a Weisco piston set up...I have a new timing chain and tensioners....The motor is loading up at low RPMs....It smokes and it is loading up smoke...(Can smell the gas)....At higher RPMs, it seems to clear up a little.....My dealer tells me that I need a carb.....Does anyone have a good used one or any suggestions on a new one as to brand, type or any other info that I can use, and where to get....Will any other type work? Such as a 400EX....I think a 300EX will work....I need help....Thanks:confused:
