I have a 400ex with complete exhaust, rev box, and k&n. How much of a difference will the 2.5mm bore make? Does anyone have it done?

Rico just put one on his 416, I'm sure he will respond. Not sure how much ride time he has on it.

Will it give the stock motor to much fuel?

No, because you can run an FCR 39mm on a stock motor. It just has to be jetted properly.

Im not planning on building the motor so it seems like the cheaper way to go, instead of buying an edelbrock or fcr

Sorry can't help with that.

But these are questions you should be asking Sparks. That is part of what you paying for.

I"M running the same jetting as my stocker in my sparks carb..:eek2:

Yes it offers power gains but not as much as a FCR or edelbrock. I had very little if no adjustments to make except for the main jet. I bought the carb used from the admin on the site. He pulled it off his 416ex and it was dam near perfect on mine...

PS..rocky ridge racing does the same carb bore for $50 less...:macho

That a good honest answer man. Cant you just get a carb of the new 400 since it is 38mm and be almost where Sparks is:confused:

Yeah that was a crock of chit.. Typo on honda's part. Part numbers are the same so it's the same carb as it's always been.:ermm:
