Hey I would like to get a trip to LBL together before winter sets in. Me and a few of my friends are going there either November 7th 8th 9th, or November 14th 15th 16th, which ever is best for most of the people who want to go. I have a 400ex and so do two of my friends. Im not sure yet exactley how many people I will be carrying up there. Let me know if you can go and which weekend would be best. We would leave Friday after school and come back sometime Sunday afternoon.

This sounds good to me.The weekend of the 15th and 16th is when me and a few of my friends are going riding somewhere. We are a bit older than ya'll, but still sounds fun.We were thinking of going to Daniel Boone in Kentucky to ride since none of us have ever been there.Have any of you ever ridden there? If so let me know if its good or not.We rode Lorretta Lynn's vsta ride this past weekend and I recomend it highly. It is the best place I have ridden. It was very tight trails 16.5 miles long with lots of other riders. It was a blast.

Daniel Boone National Forest is huge - but it's not like you can just ride wherever, there are several different designated trail sections - but they don't connect or anything. Is really not worth coming fron Tenn for. But I would highly recommend LBL - one of my favorite places to ride. I may be down there on the 15th/16th.

hey crazy400ex guy Loretta Lynn's is at Huricane Mills. It is near Lobelville,TN.It is out 40 west.No you can't ride there anytime but I sure wish you could. They host national GNCC,motorcross, harescrambles for bikes and 4-wheelers.If you check out this website and join you can ride next fall. www.vstarider.com It is a trailrider political club which fights the politicians to get and keep public places to ride here in our state. There was riders from several other states there as well.Loretta lets the club host 2 rides a year. One in the fall is for bikes and wheelers and the one in the spring is for bikes only.A yearly membership is only $15.00 and it is well worth it just to ride Loretta's.I was asking about Danial Boone because we ride LBL all the time and was looking for new place to ride with maybe some tighter trails. We love LBL but were kind of getting burnout.Does Boone have tight trails with lots of hills?By the way I live south of Franklin and North of Springhill.I which there was a place to ride closer to home.Have you ever ridden coal creek in east TN?We have been wanting to go there too.

lbl is great. it is about 2500 acres of wide, smooth trails to narrow rocky trails. some great hill climbs too. If you ride near the west end of it, be careful of large rocks. permits are required and are $15 for a 3-day pass. riding is allowed during daylight hours only. primitive camping is available, and modern campgrounds are nearby. The nearest town is Murry, KY, about 30 miles away. I visit turkey bay about 3 to 5 times a year.

jus got back from coal creek a few weeks ago an it was a decent place to ride, most people there were on utilities though, the trails were real wide in most places,i'd say itz more of a lay back and relax place to ride, the scenery was nice , it was cool watching the 4x4 jeeps drive up rattle rock

so who all is going this weekend? im taking exrider505 & a few of his friends ;)

bigredfan was planning on going and like many times before my friends have all backed out.I might go anyway by myself, but I think it is dangerous to ride by yourself ,so I might try to hook up with ya'll.I will be there Sat.11/15/03 early.Where do ya'll park?We usually park at the first spot on right down the road from the guard shack.I'll be in a green GMC 4by4 with a red 400ex with Duncan Racing graphics kit.Maybe with a enclosed trailer with a 250R too.

11-12-2003, 05:35 AM
We will be getting there friday night.
I usually park in the cemetary field right on the left off the road. Im in a blue truck. if you're looking at the truck I usually park very close to where that picture was taken. It was taken with me coming out of the cemetery/field going towards that very small concrete bridge. Do you know where I am talking about?

Me and crazy400exman are now going to take my truck. Look for a black Ford F-250 Super Duty. With a little 9 foot trailer.

hey ex505 and crazy400ex guy I know the place you are talking about,I have to goto Memphis to see my brother-in-law play football. He plays for BGA and is in the playoffs.I'll be home really late, but if I wakeup in time on Sat. I still plan on going,it just depends on how late I get home.If I don't make this trip we'll try again.I really think LBL is a great place to ride.I plan on making some trails of my own in Franklin my relatives have about 70 acres that is all woods. It'll be alot of work but well worth it.Catch ya'll later.
