black plastic

To everone with black maier plastic. How long has it held up to scratches? I hear ah its sucks and it looks good until you ride it and others say it holds up.

So whats the deal?

Here is a pic of black plastics. Its not mine, but I know it has been rode, and they look really nice to me.

clean it and apply Future floor wax to it after you ride, and it will look nice for a long time

I beat the piss outta my plastic, put a little forumla 2001 or mothers vinyl cleaner. It shines right up and looks brand new. The only spot you can tell where its scratched is where my boots rub, but thats common on all plastic.

Mine looked fine for a year of riding almost every day, had boot scratches and stuff but it looked fine after a little elbow grease.

Mine are holding up to the abuse. Wearin only where my boots rub. A little Future helps alot! Maybe someday Ill be awake during daylight and I can take a better pic for ya..lol

hondarider2006, that is a badazz pic! How cool that my race number is 85 too...although that quad has a little more motor than mine, lol!

I think I am sold. I am gonna run the black plastic next season!

Oh yeah, can I find that Future floor wax at like Wal mart or something?

Walmart sells future...just make sure you buy the floor wax and not the "future" floor cleaner

If you have a 400ex, how does that quad have more motor ? Its a 300ex/250x ??

nacs400ex, my bad. I took a quick look and thought it was the 400. Good gosh I hope I got more power than that, lol!

I usually just put armor all on my black fullbore, and call it good. its not the best, but I have had it for a year, and I really need to put some plastic renew stuff on it...
