I put one on my 400 and did not have a problem. I would guess either they sent you the wrong one (maybe a 400) or your subframe is bent.

How far off is it?

I had the same problem, the quality of the pipe is good but I had a bear of a time fittin it on my 2003. So I don't think your frame is bent. I had to really clean up the header pipe with sand paper and get all the residue off it, slipped it on, so to speak, left the clamp loose, wiggled it around to start the hanger bolts about 4 turns and then tightened the clamp and then tightened up the hanger bolts. Check for leaks and it has been fine.
If you got concerns call them Hanz is a great guy.

fit my 400ex like a glove

i put the one on my warrior this weekend and it didnt fit as well, its within .125 of the airbox and i think its going to melt it. and the canister hits the frame at the same time or before it hits the mounting locations. my frame vary well may be tweaked alittle. either way its on there now and i love it

Yepers, Mine didnt fit properly either, just one of the 2 bolts lined up on my 400... But it has 0 leaks, and still is very sturdy... Plus, the performance is good too, so I didnt complain!:D

Mine fit perfect on my 400! Try taping it on good with wd-40 and a rubber mallit so that you dont ding it up. just a thought
