there badass and shiat man 150hp snowmobile engine. they normally have a 400 cc liquid cooled two-stroke in them. i bet you that thing is badarse. how much they sellin it for. if its in good condition and good price go for it. really nice stock ones go for like 5 or 6 grand. i have a 77 odyssey(pre pilot) i want to get rid of. ill get rid of it for like 4 hundred all it needs is a seat. its a got a aircooled 250cc two-stroke in it. front suspension half roll cage. but all in all. the pilots are like 3 times better then an odyssey. atleast the 70's odysseys anyway.

Pilots and Odyessys seem to be a problem for most ppl that dont know how to maintain them ,w/ the original motor they keep a killer resale value, like dude said..most are still goin' for 5 G's and more and parts are $pendy,if your sprung on 1..dont sell your quad for it,get a 350..they are better in some ways (except an actual h20 water-pumped topend, suspension and front brakes)and can be built to hang w/ pilots, mine will give a 500cc pilot a good run;) :D

usually when they have a sled motor..the stock motors been smoked ..and sled motors are a good replacement ,and will give you more power, but that dont mean it will be better...most aren't

pilots are a blast as long as ya have a bit of open area to ride them
