You can buy any year. just make sure when you put it on your bars that you can move it up and down with a lil force, other wise it will break.

i was just at the dealer, and the guy was like, "which year perch?" and i basically was standing there looking all confused. he said there are different perches for different years.

what year does the justice for the 400ex? will a certain year have different pull-ratios? sorry but i just wanna get it right, and the dealer guy had no idea what i was talkin about

Some of the older CRs had black levers and perches so just get both from the same year and you'll be OK.

Dude, just go to Yamaha and get a 2001 YZ perch, it has adjust on the Fly and a stock 400ex lever fits in it. They are like $20 dollers, and I have one and it works like a champ, and looks trick too!
