View Full Version : New Mods to 300ex

Last weekend I finally replaced my stock handle bars with some fly racing bars with scott grips. I also got bored and took all stock stickers off and replaced them with some Nac's Racing stickers I had. Looks good!!!! ;) yeah I have the same bars on mine it sure looks different w/ them. I also don't have any of the Honda stickers, took them all off & just got done redoing my plastic now I have some flaming skulls onthe tank & thats about it besdies a couple sponsor stickers. I likethe sleeper mode!!

looks nice i would suggest taking of teh stock light nad puttin 2 small fog lights on there instead i used to have that on my 300ex but i sold it for a shee now i would post pics but i dont know how to do it
or ya could search for HiperEX and maybe find them on here

that thig almost reminds me of my 300ex when i first got it but yours is a 93,but the race blood went throgh me and i put bout 2,000 in the bike,yours looks real nice

filter-50,renthals-100,dunlop tires-120,bumber-100,nerf-150,works shocks-325,spacers-95-,carb-professionally redone-30,whitebros pipe 275,mxs-100plus afew more lil things but non of the less exps.,and the suit was bout 500

Quick question for you guys that have taken your headlight off of the 300..........I want to take mine off for race season but want to be able to put it back on whe I need it, sooooo how do you get the big plug undone right behind the bulb??? Do you have to cut it:confused: If anyone can help I owuld appreciate it BTW NO I dont want fog lights :)

dirtmoma evry thing unplugs. you have to get the 2 bolts on the side of the lite to loosen the metal bracket.then theres like these things i duno how to explain it holding the bulb undo them and pull it out of the glass. then un hook all the rev neutrAL LIGHTS and stuff. unplug the big wire than conects to the bulb. i go night riding alot so i jus put a plastic bagy around the big conector that goes in the bulb and wraped electrical tape around it soo it dosent get wet. then jus tucked it down in to the plastic.

yea like he said it just unplugs and if u take the nuts out and slide the plastic off the light slides out then u just take it off.
but remember what plug goes where!!

OK thanks guys!! I figured there had to be a way I just didnt' get into tearing it apart.;)
