Looks like you've all been very busy posting away... Amazing to see the transformations that have gone on.. Kudos to the folks that keep the wheels turning, it takes an amazing amount of effort.

So what's new in the EXriders world?

Pretty much thought I was over the whole sport quad thing (went so far as selling the beloved 400 at a terrible loss, and picking up a hunting / fishing / beer drinking 4x4)..

Now I see Honda stepping up with the new machine.. Boy do I want one.. None of that wussy stuff (electric start, reverse, BAH)..

Lean and mean... I'm liking it..

Wonder if my wife will kill me when I show up at the house with it on the back of the truck? (probably)..

I guess the 4x4 could be her ride :D

In case your wondering the 4x4 is an AC 500I.. Rides like a Cadillac, goes anywhere, but the 500cc Suckzuki motor is probably the most anemic thing this side of a weed wacker.. So far I've managed to not touch it with a wrench, 100% stock (amazing eh?).

Rifle season is in full swing here in NY's northern zone.. We are pretty lucky, it runs from Oct 18 - Dec 7 this year.. The big boys are starting to come down from the hills looking for a little sugar..

Going to be a good weekend for it, with some tracking snow in the higher elevations :D

Your story sounds like a few of my buddies... got rid of the sport quads and traded them in for "Caddilac riding" 4x4's with all the bells and whistles...

I have a hard time remembering that it's a 700 pound tank, not a sport quad.. So far it's reminded me twice by turning itself upside down, and once by failing to stop as quickly as I wanted..

When I use it as it's intended (hauling, hunting, etc..) it's perfect.. When I start thinking that it's a 400EX, ugly things happen..

The suspension is definately not setup for WOT runs through the woods or doubles.. <grin>

So what are all you cat's up to these days? I figured Honda would be shipping you each a pre-production 450R for "evaluation" purposes or something like that!

lol...we are working on honda but they aint "giving " us anything for free...yet:devil:

i finally bought my house with some land to ride on....sold all my 400ex's...bought one of bill balance's R's ...blah blah blah

ive been trying to hunt inbetween working on the new house...moving and work. ive only managed to get a small buck...but last night my son got his first deer while hunting alone:D it wasnt his biggest deer but at 10 yeras old ...just managing to hunt safe and get a deer is enough:cool:
