shocks get them valved for + what ever a-arms ur getting you can still put them on ur quad it will just be a bit stiff with out the a-arms .

Shocks. Suspension is first and foremost when seeking to get faster.

i'd do

shocks set up for +0 stk a-arms ur weight

axle

then +1 a-arms later...

my +0 shocks on +1 a-arms are still perfectly fine... i only had to bump up the compression 1 click

get shocks first trust me!

when u get +3 a-arms ull front end will be so low and when u hit the jump ur quad will dive into the dirt and screw u up real badddd

then get a-arms then an AXLE an axle can wait it will be easyer to slide out the back end with stock axle and +3 a-arms

I'd save it until you can do the whole thing. If you're going to go +3, you may as well go Long Travel.

Even if you don't go LT, if you get shocks for +3, they are going to be REALLY stiff on stock length a-arms, and your quad will handle worse than it did with stock suspension. OR, you buy them for stock length arms, and then spend $300 on rebuilds when you buy your +3 arms.

I'd set the money aside until you can do the whole package, less hassles.

You can get away with front 0-preload and a rear lowering strut, but your rear suspension will bottom out much easier with the lowering strut. Plus, the strut costs about $100, which you have no use for once you get the rear 0-preload rear shock...

I suggest 0-preload shocks 1st.

This is the best route.

Suspension really is a package deal, because they all work together. The only thing you can do separately is the axle, because it doesn't really affect the shocks.

Wilkins has the best advice. If you get shocks now for the front end, you will have to have them revalved again when you get your a-arms, because your shocks will sit at a different angle.
