I have a 400ex with 18x9.5x8 Turf Tamers mounted on Douglas wheels. Now I am looking for some front tires that will look good on douglas wheels, but at the same time will perform better than stock. I have about 2 inches below stock size wheels and tires for my turfs. So which front tire should I get? Holeshot MX or Razr MX? I believe the Holeshot is more expensive but I cannot find any Razr too compare prices... So which will outperform the other and all that stuff. Are Razr more expensive than the Holeshot? I plan to race on these tires so which is better? I seriously need this info!!! Thanks!!!

I switch to razrs and I'm really happy with them. The holeshots wore increadibly fast.

I do not plan on riding on the road with these tires. So wearing is not a factor. Now, which one handles better on the track. I plan to race these tires!! Now my Turfs are very little so I will order them small. Thanks!

my buddy has Holeshot MX up front on his Blaster and he likes them a lot and they look awsome....and so far theve held up pretty good as long as he stays off the road i dont think wearing is a problem, he raced motocross on them and he said they hooked up good but his last lap he got landed on by a banshee...bummer ehhhh?...

Grooved radials are sweet. And you will get about 2 1/2 seasons on a set.

I have 20" Holeshot MX's up front on my stock rims and am very happy with them. I have seen the Razr MX's, but only a few guys up here run them at the track.

As far as wear, I only run at tracks and the wear is just normal.

Just my .02:)

well i cant say which is better, cuz i never tried the razr's. but i know my holeshots have worn great. i have had mine for the whole season, about 21 races and numerous practices, and still have at least 75-85% tread left. maybe im just not hard on them, but i havent had that bad of tire wear ever on my quad., front or rear, and im not slow by any means.

Don't know if this matters to you but, Razr's are made in Taiwan and Holeshots are made in the U.S.A....that helped a little in my decision.

Me too. I plan to buy some Razr MX fronts to replace my worn Holeshots. I really like the Razr rears, and the wear characteristics are great! I have ridden Holeshots, and like them as well, but the price and wear do not impress me.
