hi guys,
The more engines i see for sale on ebay with snapped conecting rods, the less sure i am about building my engine. Exactly how flimsy are they... or are these guys doing something wrong. dont get me wrong, i can find my way about an engine pretty well. I was gonna add a ported head, stage II cam, and a forged 10.5:1 piston. would thses mods warrent a heavy duty rod? I gather Honda would leave at least a little room for modification. has anyone here snapped a rod? why does this happen what seems like too often?
