We could use the moisture but I do not like the cold that goes with that.. I can't begin to think about winter it has been in the High 80's here for the past week  I am loving every minute of it.. I know the snow will be flying soon normally around Halloween :o

I heard of spiders make their way inside the house (more than usual) it will be a hard winter.

I also heard that if squirrels have really fuzzy nuts that it's going to be a hard winter. :huh

I haven't bothered to check the validity of this last statement...

i think its impossible to predict wisconsin/minnesota weather. one day its 80+ the next day its a high of 42. we have got crap for snow the past couple years. its wierd riding on dirt on cristmas vacation. i could really care less. dont got a bile, and one of the best snowboard parks/ ski resort is 5 minutes away.

just like always......were gonna get only 1 maybe 2 small snows of about 2 inches, and its all gone the next morning

i say, if its gonna be so dang cold, let us atleast have some better snows so we get out of school......i wouldnt mind an ice storm, that'd be kinda fun actually

Man this sucks....I live in alaska and I am STILL waiting for snow. No snow what so ever here. Its about 10-20 degrees every day, and the closest thing we have to snow is frost. Pretty lame, cause when we do get a good foot of snow or more, its a bast playin on the hard pack. Riding at -20 isn't so great....but I have rode in worse. Over the years it hasn't been as cold. We usuly get about 1 week of -50, and than its pretty much close to 0 all winter. I am kinda wondering if we are even gonna get any snow this winer though.....October 22nd and still now snow...:huh

ok im confused...by a "BAD" winter do you mean alot of snow cuz you wanna ride or by having little snow as bad. cuz im hopin theres lots of snow for snowmobiling.....and anyone that rides an old sled knows how bumpy it is with little snow.:blah:

im talking about riding the road and hitting those 30 foot snow mounds and then into about 12 foot of drifted snow that would be fun!!

I hate winter... What does it mean when a caterpillar is all white?? I think it's time to move to a state that's warm year round...

I gave my wife a weather forecast... I predicted she'll get 8 inches tonight...

We had a preety bad winter last season, (NJ) this year I'm assuming it's going to be really bad, because we're getting flurries tommorrow! - I just washed the 400 and got some holeshots, I can't wait for it to snow...hopefully one weekend there will be a state of emergency and they shut down all the roads...then the fun really begins, I want to let 'er rip!:) After the 400, then we'll go on the highway with the snowmobiles:p

I think we're in for a wet one here. We have a lot of flooding here right now. Its kind of weird, on day the snow level is down near 3500 feet and then two days later its up to 11,500+ and raining to beet the band:rolleyes: On Monday we had record rain fall here with just under 6 inches in 24 hours. LOL We have five cars in our shop with water damage.:D

I hope we have a little more consistant snowfall then last year, we only had a few days that it snowed really good. As soon as the salt gets put on the roads my EX comes apart and the chains go on my dad's Foreman ;)
It's fun to powerslide and stuff on a sport quad but with a 4x4 utility with chains and studs with a detachable plow, can make some nice cash here because people have long driveways. Not to mention getting stuck is pretty dang hard!
