Hey, I don't know if this is the best place, but I couldn't find any other forums on here for this. My tail light isn't working, and I don't know what to do. Are there any connections that I dhould check? or something within the light? any help would be appreciated cause I am going to the dunes next weekend, and need to get this fixed. Thanks!

maybe the bulb burnt out. or it could be a broken wire.

Thanks, I just went out a few minutes ago, and it is just the bulb that got burnt out! Does anyone know if I can get a bulb from an autoparts store that'll fit in the headlight? any special kind? I would like a white light, maybe some strobes!:cool:

yah..they arevery cheap at your local autozone...mine are like $0.50 a bulb & come in packls of two....when i ride wheelie & hit real hard my light bulbs often brake

I'm sure there are other brands that can be cross-referenced to match also.

I'd like to get an LED brake/tail light system mself:)

id like to get that one in that dirt wheels magazine with like the 32 different lights.....this guy also makes some pretty cool lights like that on ebay but they are like $40.....i guess you get what you pay for...:confused:

my bulb must have gotten real hot once and kinda melted where is mounts into the socket. i went to the parts store and bought a trailer marker light and mounted it to the back of my air box. with it like this i dont have to worry about hitting it when a wheelie goes a little far. it has two bulbs and is brighter than stock.

It'll be interesting to see if the LED tail light from the new TRX450R will fit on the 400ex...If it can be done, I will do it! :D

That looks pretty good but a bit more than what i'd like to spend. I wonder if it comes with the switches for the pedel and lever?
