I can get a 400ex real cheap for around 2500 or so. Should i go ahead and spend the money and make it mx ready? (shocks,rims,a-arms,axle,bars,motor work,etc) If i do stick with 400ex i'm thinking about profabatv doing the work, good choice?Or should i just buy a yfz/trx and put new rims and tires on it and have a machine thats will fair well against anyone around here?

wait for the 450R for sure...if ur racing MX then thats probably the best bike you could go with...all u need to do is take that POS carb honda put on it to make there bike cheaper then yammis and stick an FCR on it...then u should be good to go and smoke them yzf's :D ...it will be around the end of november or december...when the 450R is out...at least i heard

I would prolly wait on the new Honda if I were you. But you can't go wrong with a 400ex. They can be made with a little$$$ to run very well.
