hello everyone im getting in to bike market. since i only have 1500 dollars to buy a bike i need to know all the ins anh outs on this bike. i guy want to sale my his 99 300 ex for 1500 he needs the money for hus car the motor has been rebuilt before he got it. i have yet to see this. but i need other people's opinio. he told me all i need to drive it. please let me know all the good and the bad about this model and all the upgrades for it. thanx

nice quads all around, i have one, plenty of mods(almost endless)
and they are pretty fast

pros-great low end, good suspension for its class, good handling, goo for wheelies, electric start etc

cons-i cant think of any of the top of my head`

no the one im looking at has had the motor rebuilt already.

$1500 seems like a good price for it. I paid $1800 for mine, if it isn't all trashed I think it would be a good deal & I LOVE MY 300!!!!:D

i just got it 1,350.00. it has some dings and stuff oh it needs back tires. but it ride good. can i adjust the clutch it wants to creep when im in gear. where can i get rear break pads and a service manual?

for the 300 all u reely need to do is change the oil and make sure evrythings is well greesed up;)

CONGRATS!!! Sounds like you probably need a clutch, mine didi that when I first got it too, but not after I did the clutch.

Do you wanna do after market or stock clutch :):p then we will know if its expensive or not but not really

yea man u got a good deal on it..i loved i cant think of anything i didnt like except the way u had to do the reverse an the position of the choke

YES the Dirt diggers are good, we have one in our blaster & my 300. If you go stock OEM Honda your gonna spend ALOT more $$. Sooo I'd go w/ EBC:D :D
