rejetting carbs

hey i have a 300ex with a jet kit in it. I am new to quading and i think its about time i rejet my carbs. I hear people sayin its so easy and that they do it alot- well i have NO IDEA what to do. I have had my quad since a week after christmas and the guy i bought it from took reall good care of it. How often do you re jet your carbs and how do i do it?

Rejetting is NOT something you have to do to maintain your bike. The only reason to jet is IF you have opened the exhaust and airbox- OR - IF you live at an elevation above 3000'. Goto www.whitebros.com and look up the carb spec page and read about the theory behind carbs and you will realize that there is a lot more to jetting than just the mainjet. There are 3 main areas you need to learn, and when they are working.
