thinking about going with a 250r axle hubs and smaller rear brake rotor?
anyone done this?
if so what else would i need besides the axle, hubs and brake rotor itself? did you like the setup?
thanks

all you need is the 250r caliper...rotor and caliper bracket. it will all work on a 400ex axle.

is a 250r axle wider than q 400ex axle?
i was told it was 1 in wider?

id have to measure them but its possible. if you have to buy a new axle and hubs then thats ok...but i just didnt want you buying all R parts if its just teh ground clearence(smaller rotor) you are after.

and if the later is the case...try a crf front caliper and the billet bracket from GT thunder and a 250r rotor and rotor hub.

i appreciate the heads up
the main focus was the more ground clearance
anyone you would reccomend to get the r parts from? this info would be appreciated

but i would like the wider axle also
ill probaly find the brake parts first, then maybe do the axle

I have a 400ex axle on my 250r and everything goes on fine. All the brake stuf will work, you have to buy a 250r rotor, caliper, caliper mount, and brake hub, but unless you take your swing arm gaurd off it really wont do anything.
