Piolet jet

Well I have made up my mind, I am going to a 42 piolet jet. But before doing this, I was wondering if it's safe to take off my choke. It gets down to -10 here, and there are nights I ride home from my friends house, and was wondering if without a choke, if it will run? Also, where can I order the 42 from? My local dealer just sucks, so I will have to order it from the web. Thanks in advance -Nick-

C&D Racing sells them for about $3.50 each. I'd get a 42 and a 45 just to be safe. It will run fine with the 42 but starting in very low temps might be an issue if you remove the choke.
