rev kit and woodruff key

I just finished installing a Curtis Sparks rev kit and a 6 degree advance key on crankshaft, I've ridden the quad and can tell absolutely no difference in power. The only change I noticed was it didnt bang out at the same rpm's. It already banged way past the power curve anyway so no increase is noticeable. My advise is for anyone wanting to power up a 400ex, don't waste the time or money on rev kit and woodruff key, it is all hype!!!!!!!!
