41 or 39 FCR?

I'm having my motor built up and will be wanting a carb pretty soon. For now i am getting my stock carb bored and they are gonna mess with it so it flow's better. But i'm wondering if i should get a 39 or a 41.

Fischer cycle is really porting my head and it's gonna be flowing pretty good. Then i'll have a 13:1 416 pistion, and an extremely wild cam. would the 41 be better for this. Would it hurt anything to put a huge carb on, even if your head isn't ported?

a too large carb will make it run worse....a 41 wont be too big, i would get it

If you are really getting some serious porting then get the 41. If you plan on modding the motor more in the future get the 41.

If I were you I would speak with Bud and get his advice. The 39 would be fine but if you are having him do some serious head work you'll be better off with the 41.

Yeah, i'm gonna talk to bud about it when he calls. He told me he would call me when my motor is done. I'm pretty sure he will advise the 41 but i was just checkin'. Thanks for your info guys.
