i just put in a new parts unlimited clutch cable in my 400ex and is still stiff as heck,i even installed new moose levers.any suggestions on getting this fixed.:confused: thanks

adjust it down by the right case...:huh

get a bar and get two 25 lb weights, do 100 a day 10 fast 10 slow. that should take care of ur problem, it helped me.

if you got a shorty clutch lever toss it and get the standard size, shorty sounds good but you loose a lot of leverage

also check your cable to see if there are any like kinks in it

your clutch basket probably has grooves in it from your clutch plates. it so file them smooth. makes a nite and day difference

yeh its a lever and the longer it is the easier it is to pull in. So maybe just start pullin it closer to the end. It prolly just needs to be lubed.
