View Full Version : what kind of boots do you guys rock?

Im on the market for new boots... I have a pair of crappy thor's i got for like 90 bucks bran new. They are SO uncomfortable.. I know I know.. they aren't meant to be THAT comfortable or have flex.. but I don't want to feel like im wearing a cast when I ride. I was checking out some Alpinestar Tech - 4 boots ..

which ones do you guys think would be better or do you have any other suggestions? thanks

I have alpinestar m6's , awesome boot! awesome price!

I think either boot will be good I have the (i think they are the T10 thors) I am need of some new ones and my choice would be between the t30 and the tech 4 or maybe even the tech 8's when I come up with $290 :)

I still ride with my Fox Trackers. I have Thor T-30s but haven't broken them in all the way yet (I've had them since July =/). The T-30s are EXTREMELY comfortable though. I would highly recommend them.

I got sum alpinestars, don't know what model, but they were like 180 bucks. I love them, they are very comfortable.

I have Oneal Elements cuz they were like $70. If I get new boots they will be Alpinestar Tech 8's

Thor & tech 8's...tech 8's were tough to break in ,..but that now that are broke in...they are the best!:D

I have Alpinestar Tech 6's and I love them except for the sole which is falling out.

I have fox, um like the stuart replacas only black, and not QUIT as fancy, but just as comfertable, I like them, but the only thinkg I hate is the straps/hooks, i CANT ever get the darn things undun!:mad:


I hear Tech 8's are awsome!:ermm:

I must be 1 of the few w/ tech 7's,Ive had them since 95ish and they're showin' signs retirement,Ive had those rebounder in-soles for yrs and w/o them all boots feel uncomfortable to me,tech8's are next in line,and just when I get a pair...they'll kick out the new Techs:rolleyes: :p :D :blah:

I was lucky enough to acquire some alpinestar tech 6 boots with my 300ex i bought about a year and a half ago. The boots are comfortable and look about the same they did when i got them. Luckily enough my feet havent grown either.:huh

I went with the Tech 6's 'cause I figured sooner or later I'd loose one of those damn booties. Very comfortable and excellent quality.

I got the Axo RC5's too BAtgeek........I never broke them in either. I wore them for my practice heat at Budds 3 weeks ago, and got two 2nd place finishes in them....I love em'

I've got some white alpinestar TECH 8's. I absolutely love these boots and they are so comfortable to ride in. They were a little hard to break in, but after they are they are awesome. Also when these boots get a little old, you can replace just about every single part of them including the sole's. At almost 300 dollars they are a little spendy, but well worth it. :D

Alpinestar anything is the only way to go. I ride with Vectors, but the Tech 8 would be my choice right now.
