so wat does everyoen call the end of a loaf of bread, i alway call it the but, and i never eat it either i think its nasty, wat all yall call it and do ya eat it:D :D :D

I discussed worst topics. i actually know the name for the end of a loaf of bread in 3 languages. Heel for english(as was mentioned before), Capje for Dutch and Kruste for German.
How do you like that? LOL

kruste in german means crust so your right but its not a specific word for the "heel"

There is a word for it. The begining of the loaf and the end are called the "Anschnitt", and in Bavarian it's called a "Scherzél". Ha! so there :blah: lol

I call it the crust. If I have to use it I just turn the crust side inside the sandwich so it looks right. :p

I use it for hot dogs when we are out of hot dog buns. It doesnt break when you wrap it around the hot dog.:cool:
