Houser LT swingarm kit

I was looking at the Houser site and they offer a Long travel rear swingarm kit that includes a link and swingarm. How is this different from Elka's new link for the 400? Because just looking at it, it looks like the kit without the shock costs as much as Elka's link with the shock:confused:

From what I understand from talking with houser is is a new link and swingarm that act more like a no link long travel setup. I have sold dome of the ones for the ltz and can say that they are really trick

Thanks for the reply Colby. Just so I can understand correctly, The Houser is a Link and swing arm kit that you still need a shock for...and the Elka is a link by itself to be used with an Elka shock and stock swingarm?

You are correct. With the Houser link and Swingarm you need a shock. I don't think the stock one can be used? With the Elka link you need the Elka shock to go with it and can use the stock swingarm.
