Witch do you think is a better all-around quad?

Thats not a fair ?,no one on here knows anything about the GAS GAS 450 except for what I have told them.

Thats not a fair ?,no one on here knows anything about the GAS GAS 450 except for what I have told them. you sure about that? a guy here localy has a Gas Gas 450, he owns a shop called Quad Concepts..hes sponsored by rpm....ive never ridden it...but ive over looked it about 4364 times, and its a badd *** quad...PM Outlawex on here....he raced his old YFZ400ex against a yfz450, and teh gas gas...all 3 good friends...outlaw rode it..im sure he can compare the 2

Had a 300, which has more power, decidedly, and I sold it for the yfz450. Coulnt be happier. The gasgas is a good quad, the yfz is a great quad.

the gas gas 450 jumps like a tank and doesnt handle as near as good as a yfz450. power wise the yfz will man handle the gas gas. stock for stock they were pretty close in a drag but with the airbox off the yfz and the core removed from the pipe the yfz walked away down a freeway. LOL :p YFZ overall dominated in our little venture :cool:

well a buddy of mine is selling his gas gas for a yfz...so whats that tell you?

The 04 450 GAS GAS is totaly new and dollar for dollar will be a better buy. The 03 that I have handles alot better than are 470 YFZ at this time but we will work on that.

That one is Mike Benson's , Cook's will be totally polished ,even the motor as far as all the alum. parts go.

I rode one 03 450 Gas Gas here in Brazil and that think just didn't want to be rode!!

It seems like the mags are correct, the shocks were mounted on the wrong place(don't ask me why) and the quad just didn't want to make turns. I had arm pump in the first 30 min. it felt like a Polaris to me.

Except that the power is great.
