i was wondering is a 416ex or a 426ex requires race gas

Its not the cc that matters its the compression ratio, im not sure what ratio u need to start using race gas with.

I believe at 11:1 you must use race gas on a 400ex.

You can get away with a 50/50 mix at 11:1 but straight race gas would be better!

run 93 octane on 11:1 but its probobly better at 50/50

I can get by on a premium pump fuel with the 11:1, but I am sure the motor likes me better with a 50/50 mix this is what I use most of the time since the barrel is in the shop and redily (sp) available:D
