400EX Carb on a 300EX

If I put a 400EX carb on my 300, do I need a 400 throttle cable? What about the air boot?

Me and a friend just did this yesterday and as soon as I get a cable we are doing it again to mine.
You need a 400ex cable and a 350x air boot.
I was told the 350x air boot was what I needed and I will be honest it is a pain is the *** to get on the 400ex carb.
The throttle responce will increase greatly and the top end is much stronger.
Our motors are pretty fairly modded so they were really needing more air to breath, I think that is why it made such a difference.
