Hey, tomorrow, my dad is going to rent us a bobcat, and we are going down to our property and we are gonna start building some jumps on our track.I am not much of a jumper yeat, and I was thinking about building some table tops so I don't case the jump if I come up short. Would I be better off to build a few doubles with long landings, cuase we have to dig the dirt outa flat ground, and that could take a while, and we only have about 8 hrs with the bobcat. What kind of jumps should I work on? Whates the easiest way to make them with da bobcat?
Thanks!

build like a 40-50ft table and you can learn on that one and if you got enough dirt make a big table like 80 or 90 you proly wont jump it now but when you want to go bigger you wont have to pay to rent the cat again, make a few lil doubles when i started i was doin 80ft tables liek nothin, but i alwasy got scared on gaps even like 40ft ones:D

if you only have 8 hours with the bob cat.... i'd say your about going to have to just make doubles. i'd say make one with about 20-25 foot gap.... and go farther away from there once you get used to jumping the 20-25 foot gap u can just hit the others
Just build a 25ft, 30ft, 35ft, 40ft, 45ft, 50ft, 60ft, and 70ft. Progress to the next one when you feel confident enough.:)

I built all my jumps with a skid steer, Case 40xt. I would suggest just pile dirt into tables, its better to have tables so you can adjust them more afterwards :D Good luck

Thanks guys, We made a 20ft double, and a 25ft table that's only a foot tall, lol. I am kinda scared of the double cause when I hit it, I would always land crooked, but I think I just need to practice centering my body on my quad. My table is pretty fun even though it's only a foot tall, I can still clear it. anyways, I had to make a jump that my 11 year old sister could play around on on her xr 80. We are gonna rent the cat again later on and just keep adding to it!
