It is still a little hot, but it is so fun. Going out again this weekend. Around noon till three it is toasty, any other time is is fine. Anybody else been out yet?

That's so not fair - I don't think you need to be posting this stuff on here......it causes jealousy, crying fits and excessive compulsive quad part polishing.......:devil:

We get to go Halloween for the first time this season - I'm STOKED!!! This will be my first time at the dunes on a Banshee!!!! Woohooo!!!! :)

Nothing stopping you but a tank of gas and the will to go:D So get going!! the sand is smooth and the riding uncrowded and fantastic. Hurry before you know it it will be summer again:grr: 400 girl I might go out at halloween and camp with glamis400ex at Olgilby(sp) sorry. Lets go for a ride. I want to see how my predator does against a shee.

Tony, are you still going to make the nov. 6-9 ride?. I can't wait to ride some (BIG HILLS) HA HA HA the plan is to leave SAN JOSE around around 11:00 am that puts us there about 12:00 am I think just in time for a night ride....:D

Quadjunkies, I can't wait till next year. Mopar, I am looking foward to seeing you. Unfortunatly I was hit by a sand rail this weekend and my quad is pretty beat up. Broken hub, bent axle, ruined wheel, and bent handlebars. If thats all, I should be able to fix it by then. Pretty bad crash, both the rail and I were hauling arse and hit head on going about 60 mph each. Ripped the wheel right off my quad and mangled the rail too. I had to dive over the back of the rail right before it hit me. It was the worst crash I have ever seen. I can't believe I walked away. I was able to do the Superman and roll out of it without a scratch. I checked the quad out yesterday and other than the items listed above it looks OK. I'll keep you posted. I will order parts in the next couple of days.

Sorry to hear about the accident dunesurfer. Hopefully you get the bike fixed soon! My brother was out there from Wednesday thru Sunday. He said he saw some buggy roll at the drags. Not sure what day but he said it was wheeling and then came down a little hard and the arm snapped or something then the buggy rolled. Guy driving was OK though. You see it too ? I think he also said that there was a joker painted on the side of the buggy:confused:

Im gald nothing hurt too bad on your quad as well.Let me know how it all pans out......

DuneSurfer!!! You must lead a charmed life - that is amazing you came out of that OK!!!! That is one of my worst fears - me and a buggy.......I know I wouldn't win!!!

If you get that thing together by halloween, come find me!!! I will probably be easier to find than if I were to look for you!! :) It would be fun to race your pred!!!

Dune Surfer... glad to hear your OK, lessons can be learned thou.... never let your guard down and over estimate the other guy......... See you guys soon....

Hey guys and girls, thanks for the nice thoughts:D Corry your right I do live a charmed life!! I don't know if I will make it for halloween ( not sure I want to with all the masses) I am shooting for the weekend after with mopar400. I am at glamis two or three weekends a month so lets try for a ride another time:). I have ridden with many ex riders and always have a good time. Besides I want to ride with a female rider that can really ride:eek: (yes quadjunkies, you can ride)
I'll post my progress repairing my quad.

Tony, you crazy some of biatch I'm glad that you came out ok. thats some crazy chit well look at it this way you get to upgrade some parts (ha,ha ) looking forward to the glaims trip. were going to pismo this sat just for the day I can't wait to get there an throw the hammer down.....:macho :devil:
