Best way to clean stock air filter?

How do you guys clean a stock 400ex foam filter? Sorry for the dumb question, I lost my owners manual and have never done it before.

Kerosene, or actual filter cleaner work well. Basically pour it on and moce it around till all the dirt is gone. Let it dry, then put filter oil on it, let it dry again and go bang some gears.

if u dont have any cleener jsu use hot soap and water;)

use hot soapy water to clean it, then lightly oil it down

dont use gas it makes a great cleaner but it will slowly eat up the foam.
