TRX 90 To Cr80 converstion

Has anyone heard of takeing a trx90 and droppin a cr80 engine in it

i was think about doing it all you really need to do is get the gearing right

get the right size carb and jsut use the stock throttle cable

and get the pipe to fit

Are you crazy? If you actually pulled it off, you wouldn't be able to say on the thing. you'd need a wheelie bar. And I don't think that frame can handle such an engine.

i have seen yz85 in a blaster frame to rave in the minis:eek2:

Put the cr80 into a 250r frame and bore it to a 90. Race it in the mini class. Theres an article about it in one of the dirt wheels. Its basically the same as a blaster powerwise, but handles awesome.

4wheel atv action has one recently, a guy took a kx65 engine bored it to 70cc and built a custom frame with 250r geometry it was sweet looking.

i dont wanna race it or nething the only reason i would think about this is cuz i have a 90 and wanna do something to it and i wanna build an engine so i was thinkin about gettin a cr80 engine from this motor cycle wrecking yard and rebuild it and drop it into the beast
