Im looking into getting a new carburator. I have the stock one right now and want a better one. What is the best aftermarket carb for all around use? I will be doing Mx, trails, and pits. Wich one makes the best hp?

Thanks,
Troy

If you are riding a 400ex then get a FCR. You should see better power gains in a built motor. ;)

i have the 36Pwk air stryker and i like it. I have heard alot of people love the 38mm stryker.

What is the price of the air strykers? I found a Mukini 36mm tmx carb for sale that was only used one time for $120. Are they good carbs? Would that be as good as the air strykers?

I have a 39 mm airstryker for sale. I used it for TT/MX and alittle bit of trailriding. Awesome carb just got new ones for my bikes from sponsor. It comes with cap and slide with needle. Its ready to mount. I am asking $150 for it. Mo

I have a 440 and I saw huge power gains all through the power band! :D

Yes, the FCR produces big gains throughout the powerband, especially on the bottom (even though conventional wisdom on larger carbs will tell you otherwise)...

Be careful of the Air Strykers & other non-pumper carbs. I wouldn't go that route.

I got the lectron and I love it for the mx tracks. It's real nice I would say that the lectron, FCR, and eddlebrock are the best one's on the market. It all depends on what you want. If you get TC mods then get the lectron. If you just hop it up your self then get the fcr or eddlebrock.

You cant put the airstryker on 4 strokes. That I know. We were originally speaking of two stroke carburation.

My bad...

I know some people have tried the non pumper style flatslides and other models, wasn't sure if the Airstryker was one that would work... Didn't realize we were talking R carbs...

I like the Air Striker I had on my Lt250r. I had the 38 and only paid 169.95 for it from Hy-Tech. The smaller one is a 35 and that costs 159.95. That's the cheapest I found them and I looked pretty hard.
